Water quality impact assessment
A project that requires the use of water or that may affect the quality of water requires a water permit. This permit shall be issued on the basis of an application lodged with the competent environmental authority. The application must be accompanied by a water quality impact assessment.
We specialise in drawing up professional and factual water quality assessment reports. EKOKONSULT’s qualified and experienced team will draw up a water quality assessment report, which will help you obtain the relevant permit. All this so that you can launch your investment as soon as possible.

A water permit is necessary in cases of:
- water services and specific water uses;
- lowering of the groundwater level;
- reclamation of surface water or groundwater;
- accumulation in flood-prone areas of sewage, animal faeces, chemicals and other materials that could pollute the waters;
- crossing of inland waterways and floodbanks by overhead power and telecommunications lines;
- construction of water facilities (canals, ditches, regulating structures, ponds, fishing and fish farming facilities, piers, jetties, harbours).
